The one and only Krafty Kuts returns to Bombstrikes with an EP of absolute fire. Anyone tuning in to his weekly live streams will know that it takes more than a global pandemic to knock Krafty off his game and this latest release is testament to a true master at work. First up is a slice of Bass Funk perfection in the form of ‘Step To This’ which sees Krafty join forces with the prodigious DJ and producer: Dubra. Delivering a sonic bass assault that attacks with low down and deep frequencies paired with driving beats and a killer vocal. Title track ‘Start Rockin’ showcases the funk side of Krafty’s sound, with toughened Hip Hop beats driving the groove and an infectious piano break. For ‘Disco Sally’ we move back into the mid-tempo electronic sound for an exquisitely produced track which perfectly blends electronica and P- Funk evoking keys. Finally, ‘Deadly Pin’ rounds off the EP nicely with party inducing horn and vocal hooks delivered with a firm eye on the dance floor. Four tracks of the quality you would expect from a true legend in the game exploring a few sides to his sound. Simply outstanding!
